How It Works:

  1. Choose your package and pay your deposit to hold your place in the schedule
  2. Project briefing — I will contact you within 1 to 2 business days to book a call. We confirm the story breakdown, characters, visual style, page structure, and file specs
  3. Character design — I develop your main characters first and share them for your approval before moving to the full spreads
  4. Spread illustrations — I work through the book in stages and share progress at key points
  5. Revisions — Three rounds of changes are included and can be used at any stage of the project
  6. Final delivery — Print-ready files are sent once the remaining 50% balance is paid

About Your Illustrator:

I’m Aris Karavias, a children’s book illustrator based in Athens, Greece, with 27 years in the field. I have illustrated 58+ published books and built educational apps with over a million downloads. I won the Disney Creativity Award in 2002 and received Microsoft AppCampus funding in 2014. When you work through ReadnLearn, you deal directly with me — not a team, not a subcontractor, not a platform matching you with freelancers.

Important Notes:

The 4 to 6 week timeline starts after your deposit is paid and your project brief is complete. Rush delivery (2-week turnaround) is available as an add-on at checkout for an additional $500. High-resolution print files are delivered at final completion. Web-optimised previews are available throughout the project for your feedback and evaluation.
