Let's make sure we're a good creative match.
I’ve been creating visual content for children for 27 years, starting with educational board games and puzzles for Nestle, Disney, Warner Brothers, and Nickelodeon (including a 2002 Disney Creativity Award). Since 2017, I’ve specialized in children’s book illustration and have completed 58+ published books for authors ranging from first-time self-publishers to established Publishing Houses.
My work has been published internationally and is available in bookstores including Politeianet, one of Greece’s largest book retailers.
Here’s what those eight years of book illustration have taught me: the most successful projects start when both the author and illustrator know they’re aligned on style and vision.
That’s why I create one custom-illustrated spread before you commit to the full project. You get to see exactly how I’ll bring your story to life. I get to understand your vision and make sure my illustration style fits your book. We both save time and avoid mismatched expectations.
Important: This custom spread remains my copyrighted work and cannot be used without hiring me for the full project. It also cannot be used for AI training purposes.

What You'll Get from Your Custom Spread Request
>When you submit your manuscript, here’s exactly what happens:
Within 3-4 business days (depending on current project load), you’ll receive:
- Text-to-page breakdown: I’ll split your story across pages and show you my suggested illustration plan for each spread
- One fully illustrated spread: I’ll create one custom spread (your choice or my recommendation) showing exactly how your book will look
- Style discussion: We’ll talk through the illustration approach, character designs, and overall visual direction
This gives you everything you need to decide if we should work together on the full project.
Limited Availability: I offer a limited number of free custom spreads each month on a first-come, first-served basis. When monthly spots are filled, custom spreads are available for $150 for immediate service, or you can join the waitlist for next month’s free spots.
This limited model allows me to provide high-quality service while dedicating time to my autism-focused educational projects.
How Book Dimensions Work (Expert Guidance)
US vs European formats: Most US self-publishers use Amazon KDP’s standard sizes (8.5″ × 8.5″ for picture books). European publishers often use A4 (8.3″ x 11.7″) or similar metric dimensions through services like IngramSpark. Both work fine, but check your primary market’s preferences.
When in doubt: If you don’t specify dimensions, I’ll design for the most common format for your book’s age group: 32 pages, 14 spreads + cover, 8.5″ × 8.5″ for picture books (ages 3-8).
