How It Works:

  1. Choose your package and pay your deposit to hold your spot
  2. Project briefing — I will contact you within 1 to 2 business days to book a call. We confirm the story, the educational goals, the target age group, the activity types, and what you want parents or teachers to be able to do with the book
  3. Story illustrations first — I develop the character designs and full story spreads, sharing progress at key milestones
  4. Educational content — Once the story visuals are approved, I design and illustrate the activity pages to match
  5. Educational Guide — Developed in parallel with the activity pages
  6. Revisions — Three rounds included across the full project
  7. Final delivery — Print-ready files for the complete book sent once the remaining 50% balance is paid

About Your Illustrator:

I’m Aris Karavias, based in Athens, Greece, with 27 years creating children’s content. That includes 58+ published books, more than 25 educational apps used in schools and therapy practices, a Disney Creativity Award (2002), and Microsoft AppCampus funding (2014). The educational layer in this package is not an add-on I bolted onto an illustration service — it is where a significant part of my career has been. I have built apps commissioned by therapists, schools, and educational foundations. That experience shapes how I approach the activity pages here.

Part of what I earn from this work funds the development of autism-friendly educational tools and apps for neurodivergent children, provided at no cost to the families who need them. Read about the mission.

Important Notes:

The 6 to 8 week timeline starts after your deposit is paid and your project brief is complete. Rush delivery is available at checkout for an additional $500.
