Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for services purchased from Read ‘n’ Learn Ltd through readnlearn.com. Please read this carefully before placing an order.

(Book Illustration, Educational Book, Activity Book)

Deposit (50% upfront)

A 50% deposit is required to begin work. If you request a refund after the deposit has been paid but before any work has started, the full deposit will be refunded. Once work has begun, the deposit becomes partially non-refundable based on the work completed.

Refund calculation once work has started

If you request a refund after work has begun, the refund amount is calculated as follows: the total deposit minus the value of pages already designed and delivered for review.

For example: if your deposit covers a 32-page book and 4 pages have been designed and delivered to you for review, the refund will be the deposit amount minus the proportional cost of those 4 pages. All completed pages will be delivered to you as final files alongside the refund.

Pages that have been designed and delivered to you for review are non-refundable. You will receive the files for all completed work regardless of whether the project continues.

Final payment (remaining 50%)

The final payment is due upon project completion and before delivery of final files. Once final files have been delivered, no refund is available on the final payment.

Immediate Custom Spread Service ($150)

The Immediate Custom Spread is a single double-page spread commissioned on demand.

If the spread has not yet been started at the time of your refund request, a full refund will be issued. If the spread has been started or delivered, no refund is available. This is because the work is created specifically for your project and has no resale value once commissioned.

Free Custom Spread

The free custom spread offer involves no payment and therefore no refund applies.

App Development Projects

App development projects are governed by a separate project agreement signed before work begins. Refund terms for app projects are set out in that agreement. In general, the same principle applies: work already completed and delivered is non-refundable, and you will receive all completed assets alongside any partial refund.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, contact me at legal@readnlearn.com with your order details and the reason for your request. We will respond within 5 business days to confirm the refund amount and process. Refunds are issued to the original payment method and may take 5 to 10 business days to appear depending on your payment provider.
